We can now convert your reel to reel tapes to CD. We do this using a top quality reel to reel stereo ( 4 track ) deck. We then convert them to 16bit 44.1khz digital format. We apply digital algorithms to minimise tape hiss and if requested split them into tracks. We can handle tapes recorded at 1 7/8 ips, 3.75 ips and 7.5 ips.

Prices are as follows:

3 inch reel to reel tape, typically up to 30 minutes of audio : $20

5 inch reel to reel tape, typically up to 80 minutes of audio : $40

7 inch reel to reel tape, 3 hours of audio : $60

7 inch reel to reel tape, 4 hours of audio : $75

Additional copies of CDs are $4.50 per CD.

More complex editing and noise reduction is charged at $15 per 15 minutes.

Discounts are available for multiple orders, 5% for orders of 5 or more and 10% for orders of 10 or more. Please call or email for more information.

We keep the digital recordings of your tapes on our servers for 30 days after which they are permanently deleted.
